Voice placements

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to sing in a choir. And here at SCC, we have 7 choirs! So the question is: which one best fits YOU?

Instead of tryouts or auditions, we hold VOICE PLACEMENTS. Sing us a song of your choosing, we’ll do a few exercises with you, and we will place you in the choir which best suits you.

Never sung before? No problem!

Been in choirs before? Sing us a favorite!

Eat, breathe, and sleep music? We’d love to have you!

Fall Voice Placements will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, 9.8.2026 at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Shoreline

Thursday, 9.10.2026 at CrossView Church in Snohomish

Email us to schedule a time at office@seattlechildrenschorus.org. If you are unable to make these days, don’t worry - we’ll coordinate an alternative.
