Marcie Fosse is in her 15th year with Seattle Children’s Chorus. She began in 1995 setting up auditions and planning tours and in 1998 took on the role of Chorus Manager. She has served as Executive Director since 2006. Marcie is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics which provided the foundation for her management skills within our organization. She sang with the SPU choir while in college and is very involved in her church music ministry at Berean Bible Church. Marcie oversees the general daily operations of the Chorus, works with our artistic staff on tours, events and the performance calendar, and is involved with the SCC Board on financial and strategic planning for the organization.

Executive Director, Marcie Fosse is in the office most days, except Fridays, from 9:30 – 3:30 and often is available at rehearsals.

Debbie Oglesby is our chorister accounts administrator, database manager and newsletter publisher.  She comes to us with 7 years of administrative work at New Hope Child and Family Agency and also worked for the Seattle Art Museum for 9 years.  She has a background in photography and currently enjoys producing children’s musicals at Calvary Fellowship, her home church.

Debbie will be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  You can try to contact her between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 pm.

Leanna Kraakmo is our administrative assistant and is in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays. Leanna teaches private piano lessons in her home in addition to her work with Seattle Children’s Chorus. She handles auditions, uniforms, tickets, volunteer recruiting and other general office duties.
