Auditions are being held in June and August for Fall enrollment. Auditions for mid-year enrollment will be in December.

Preparing for an Audition

• Request a letter of recommendation
  • from a teacher
  • sports coach
  • church leader
  • music instructor
• Bring the letter of recommendation with you for your audition.
• Prepare a song to sing at your audition
  • My Country ‘Tis of Thee
  • a folk song or song you know from school
  • a hymn, such as Amazing Grace
  • or even a Christmas carol
• Bring your sheet music with you

The Audition

• Is private
• Lasts approximately 15 minutes
• Includes only
  • potential chorister
  • his/her parent
  • the Artistic Director
• You will perform your song
• The Director will check for pitch accuracy
• Simple vocal exercises are also conducted.
