Our Brio training level program provides a foundation for choral and vocal instruction for boys and girls ages 7-9. Children receive an introduction to basic choral singing and perform three times a year at formal concerts. We try to provide at least one additional casual performing opportunity for this group. Shari Anderson is the director of Brio.

Shari Anderson, is director of Brio, the training level of Seattle Children’s Chorus.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Whitworth College, with graduate studies in music education, Orff and Kodaly. She has taught in public schools in Oregon and Washington since 1982 and currently teaches general music at the elementary level in the Shoreline School District in Seattle. Shari is also active in her church music program in Seattle and in the Northwest Kodaly Educators division of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators.
