Seattle Children’s Chorus presented our 20th Anniversary Gala performance:
Songs of Hope – A Bright Future!

This past season, the Seattle Children’s Chorus presented the glorious sounds of 200 young voices who gathered to celebrate the organization’s 20th Anniversary. All four choir levels, along with vocal soloists and guest instrumentalists Brass Reflections, premiered exquisite new choral pieces composed and arranged for treble and youth voices. The choirs  featured a commissioned work by nationally recognized composer, Stephen Paulus who attended the performance. The performance also included new arrangements  by local composers Richard Nance, head of choral department at PLU; Karen P. Thomas, artistic director of Seattle Pro Musica; local composer, Alicia Lewis; and SCC alum, Rebecca Kreutz who were also in attendence. The organization congratulates founder and artistic director, Kris Mason for a fabulous 20 years.
